RussiaGate would never have happened without a complicit news media. If blame is to be assigned to this outrage, the media should be the first target. The first Trump Russia stories broke in July 2016. This was before the declared start of the FBI Russia investigation "Crossfire Hurricane". The stories became more irresponsible and manic after the debacle of the 2016 election. The fourth estate could not fathom the Hillary defeat. Something sinister, evil and illegal was the only explanation. Leaks and whispers started pouring in from those in, or soon to be out of office. Every tidbit was seized upon and expanded. The Media needed a logical explanation for their horrific personal loss on election day.
In a recent poll, 82% of America did not know the concept nor even the word Pravda. It's time you know. Pravda was the officially sanctioned broadsheet news paper of the former Soviet Union for over 60 years. Pravda's news views and facts were all the news fit to print (according to them). Pravda was published by the totalitarian government of the Soviet Socialist Rebublic.
Pravda was always regarded as "Fake News" by everyone. Not only in their country, but by the rest of the world. Pravda was a joke. These huge facts are omitted in the WIKIPEDIA article on Pravda. WikiPedia may have trusted Stalin. Pravda was often used by the KGB and other government intelligence agencies to spread disinformation.
Like the USSR, the majority of the US Broadcast Media and much of the US Print Media have one unified message. It is an echo chamber. Many news organizations use the exact same words. How is this possible? There are only two possibilities.
They are right and they are telling the truth.
They are wrong and they are garnishing the truth. Someone must be providing talking points.
Who provides the talking points?
So let's look at the biggest news story from 2015 to 2018, Russian Collusion. Almost every journalist got it wrong. They all said the same thing.
All three of the FBI, Congressional and Mueller investigations found no evidence of Collusion with Russia. Yet most of America still believes it happened.
Why? Maybe it was the media mania?
One notable NBC interview was factual. From a March 8, 2017 article in Rolling Stone by Matt Taibbi he talks about a Meet the Press Interview with former DNI James Clapper. In this interview Chuck Todd asked: "Were there improper contacts between the Trump campaign and Russian officials?"
JAMES CLAPPER: We did not include any evidence in our report, and I say, “our,” that’s N.S.A., F.B.I. and C.I.A., with my office, the Director of National Intelligence, that had anything, that had any reflection of collusion between members of the Trump campaign and the Russians. There was no evidence of that…
This was more than two years before the conclusion of the Special Counsel Russia Investigation and all of the "Mueller knows everything" media speculation.
Below is a video montage taken over these same years with just a portion of the headlines, taglines or hyperbole from thousands of broadcast news stories. Every bit of proven Russian Collusion evidence is included this two minute video. Hint:(There is no evidence)
