John Brennan

"It's not a good idea to piss off John Brennan" - Samantha Power tweet

John Brennan who by his own admission started the Trump Russia investigation, has some significant career lowlights.

  • Only CIA Director to vote for a Communist for President
  • Head of Station, Riyadh failed to stop the bombing of Khobar Towers
  • Hacked Obama Passport files to clean up "birther" controversy
  • His employee, Quarles Harris executed the day before cooperating with the FBI
  • Lied about CIA torture
  • Claimed "zero collateral damage" in Obama drone strikes
  • Hacked Senate Intelligence Community computers
  • Blatently lies about the hack
  • Went on a "witch hunt" for anti-Obama reporters
  • Rolling Stone reporter Mark Hastings working on Brennan expose is blown up in his car
  • Admits to starting and shepherding the Russian Collusion Hoax
  • Created "Inter-Agency Task Force" at Langley

Ousting Richard Nixon - Starts two Serindipitous Careers

A hatred for Richard Nixon seemed to be the motivation for careers in Public Service for both Hillary Clinton and John Brennan. According to Brennan in his mandatory pre-employment CIA lie detector test, he admitted that he had no political ideology when he voted for Communist Gus Hall in 1976. He later described his vote as a protest against Nixon. Then like now, he didn't really stand for anything. Just rabid hatred against a sitting President of the United States.

Rabid hatred actually is the heart and soul of the modern Democratic Party. The don't run for anything. They just run against something. Democrats frequently joke about getting democrats to agree on anything is akin to herding cats. But one thing on which they all agreed was to do anything and everything, to oust Nixon from office. This era had the previous all time high in party unity. People forget the zeal of that era. It is happening again. It is ironic that Hillary Clinton got her disgraceful start in "Public Service" while serving on the WaterGate Committee. It was often reported that she was fired from the Watergate committee. She claims that she was just let go, not fired. Here is a look back as examined by the website "Truth or Fiction". I have only included what they deem as the truth. The reporting they deem as fiction was far more damaging.

Hillary's shaky start on the Watergate Committee

The Truth:

From TruthorFiction.com

It’s true that Hillary Clinton’s ex-boss has accused her of being a “liar” and “unethical” during the House Judiciary Committee’s impeachment inquiry into Watergate, but claims that she was fired for those reasons are false. Claims that Hillary Clinton had been fired from the impeachment inquiry first went viral during her 2008 presidential bid. A column written by Dan Calabrese, the founder of Northstar Writers Group, appeared in countless forwarded emails, and the eRumor was born.

The column was inspired by statements made by Jerry Zeifman, a Democrat who served as counsel and chief of staff for the House Judiciary Committee during the Watergate investigation. Zeifman’s book, “Hillary’s Pursuit of Power,” and comments that he made on his website, which is no longer active, have been critical of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s actions during the Watergate investigation, and in the years that followed.

Jerry Zeifman said he supervised Hillary Rodham Clinton as she worked on the team that worked on the Watergate impeachment inquiry, and that during the investigation Hillary Clinton had “…engaged in a variety of self-serving, unethical practices in violation of House rules.” Specifically, Jerry Zeifman said Hillary Rodham Clinton and others wanted Richard Nixon to remain in office so Democratic Senator Ted Kennedy would have a better chance of being elected president.

Zeifman said a young lawyer who shared an office with Clinton came to him in August of 1974 to apologize that he and Clinton had lied to him. The lawyer, John Labovitz, is quoted as saying that he was dismayed with “…her erroneous legal opinions and efforts to deny Nixon representation by counsel — as well as an unwillingness to investigate Nixon.” Jerry Zeifman also said that Hillary Rodham Clinton regularly consulted with Ted Kennedy’s chief political strategist, which was a violation of House rules.

Zeifman said in addition to helping Ted Kennedy win the presidency, Democrats also didn’t want Nixon to face an impeachment trial because they feared he might bring up abuses of office by President John Kennedy as part of his defense. But while Jerry Zeifman has been consistent in his criticism of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s work on the Watergate investigation, circumstances surrounding her termination are less clear.

In a 1999 interview with the Scripps Howard News Service, Zeifman said he didn’t have the power to fire Clinton, or else he would have: “Zeifman does not have flattering memories of Rodham’s work on the committee. ‘If I had the power to fire her, I would have fired her,’ he said. Zeifman said Rodham sparked a bitter battle among Democrats by recommending the Judiciary Committee deny Nixon’s lawyers the right to attend the closed-door meetings. ‘Can you imagine that? This was a committee of lawyers and members of the bar, and she was saying the committee should deny the president representation,’ he said. After a lengthy behind-the-scenes debate, Zeifman said the committee decided Nixon’s lawyers could attend.”

In an interview on the Neal Boortz Show in 2008, Jerry Zeifman altered his claim about Hillary’s termination from the Watergate investigation: “Well, let me put it this way: I terminated her, along with some other staff members who were — were no longer needed, and advised her that I would not — could not — recommend her for any further positions.” When pressed, Zeifman said he couldn’t recommend Hillary Rodham Clinton for future positions, “Because of her unethical conduct.” Despite that, however, Clinton was terminated because she was “no longer needed” — not because she had lied, according to Zeifman’s own account.

But in a 2008 column Zeifman wrote, “My own reaction was of regret, when I terminated her employment on the Nixon impeachment staff, I had not reported her unethical practices to the appropriate bar associations.”

In 2008, Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign replied to Zeifman’s claims directly by saying, “In a column circulating on the Internet Jerry Zeifman alleges that Hillary was fired from her job on the House Judiciary Committee in the 1970s. This is false. Hillary was not fired.” That website has since been taken offline. Posted 04/7/08 Updated 02/17/15

History Repeats Itself

"Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose."

"The more things change, the more they stay the same" - Translated from Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr

That Nixon hatred started two political careers may suggest that motivation and methods oft repeat themselves. There are striking analogies and ironies in both Scandals. You will see history repeat itself although the roles are often reversed. The common thread in both eras is rabid hatred of a sitting President. Never since Watergate has the Democratic Party been so united on any issue. This unbridled unification encompasses career employees, most in the Media and the party faithful.

In order to simplify the two sides of the Russia Hoax, I will just call them Trump and Anti-Trump throughout the remainder of the expose. Who they are, you probably already know. Who the two sides were in Watergate historically and even back then were well known. But this will become abundantly clear in case you have your head up your ass.

This role reversal is stunning given the hatred of the "System" of Anti-Trump back in the Seventies. "You don't need a Weatherman to know which way the wind blows'

The first irony is the "system" is driving the investigation. There is no hatred of the "system". There is no distrust of the "system". There should be.

The second irony is my old liberal friends now trust the CIA and Director John Brennan.

The third Irony is the comparison of RussiaGate to Watergate. In Watergate, there was a crime committed and reported as a break-in at the Watergate Hotel. Rightly, there was a subsequent investigation of the crime. But no crime was ever reported to any law enforcement agency prior to the start of the Russian Investigation. Brennan takes credit for starting the Investigation in late 2015/early 2016, before Trump won in the primaries. Was it hatred or an actual crime that started the Investigation?

This point is very eloquently and legally presented in depth in Greg Jarrett's #1 best seller "The Russia Hoax. He clarifies the vast distinction between a "Criminal Investigation" and a "Counter Espionage Investigation". A criminal investigation, in virtually every legal jurisdiction in the US, is the result of a report or knowledge of a crime being committed. By definition a "Criminal" investigation investigates crimes. It cannot be started by labeling someone a "Criminal" and commencing an investigation in search of a crime. Some of our favorite legal words come from this tradition. "Suspect", "Alledged" are but two. At the start of "the Investigation" there was no crime alleged. Carter Page was a "suspect" in the non crime of Russian Collusion. To this day there is still no crime alledged. Why is there a special counsel? What is the crime? The Mueller report did not find a crime. There is however a target. Guess who is the "target"? You all know. Guess what is the crime? Nobody knows. The morons will guess collusion. Prove collusion, there is still no crime. Collude is another word to talk to and agree. Collusion for sake of the idiots that are not informed is not a crime. Rigging an election fraudulently is a crime. If you still don't understand the law, read Jarett's book.

The first anology was the use of campaign money to dirty up your opponent. This is often called opposition research. Nixon used the "Plumbers", Hillary used Fusion GPS. This research is usually combined with campaign money to produce political advertisements. Most all of you don't believe these ads. Nor should you. We all know campaign ads are an exagerration at best and blatent lies at worst. They are not very effective anymore. Hardly anyone believes them. I personnally loved Bernie's campaign ad showing quick pics of the good life accompanied by Paul Simon's "All Come to Look for America" as the score. It made me feel good. It's the only campaign ad I remember. But I would never vote for a socialist.

Brennan took this Fusion GPS agitprop and claimed it was Intelligence Community vetted. This was far beyond an endorsement for President and his best chance to become Secretary of Defense. He peddled this all over Washington and a sympathetic Media. He is still peddling it today. He gives no details. He just implies that the Director of the CIA knows all. Perhaps in his hubris, he thinks that he will prevail. Maybe he is just thinking back to admitting on that CIA lie detector test where he said "I froze" that he can get away with anything. The most likely explanation is that pounding on falsehoods and hiding behind "National Security" is his last chance not to end up in Prison or executed for Treason.

Rabid Hatred

Brennan like no other public figure before him, has exhibited a vitriolic hatred of a sitting President. Comey has come close but Comey was fired by Trump. Comey has more reasons to hate Trump. Clapper, the doltish Brennan sycophant is a distant third. Why is this part of a book? Possibly for the same reason that state of mind is admissible in court proceedings. What someone does is often directed by why they do it. In any story the five W's are the foundation of Journalism. If I am going to accuse Brennan of Treason, I better have a "Why"

Unlike many crime stories the "Why" is critical to understanding and explaining the aberant behavior of supposedly professional men and women. It is possible that when all is said and done, some of these men and women will be going to prison. Brennan, James Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Sally Yates, Susan Rice, Samantha Power, Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills and even Hillary were all "in for a penny, in for a pound" What drove them to risk or lose their careers and possibly their freedom? Why are they eagerly willing to break the law and maybe go to prison? In the face of overwhelming evidence, they all continue to lie or obstruct. For the same reason the Legacy Media is willing to lose their half their business.

They are doing it for the cause. This is their belief system. It is a new secular religion. It appears to be designed for those that have no religion. It hasn't been named yet. The new left that is so quick to label their opposition has not come up for a name for their own extreme beliefs. But these GroupThinker beliefs encompass a huge portion of America. This new religion is devoid of rationalism or intellect. Any one who disagrees with them should be silenced or eliminated. It is reminiscent of Naziism in the 1930's. Something has enthralled the masses. It is the new 21 st century facism.

The Anti-Trumps all are united now. This unification is deeper and wider than Watergate. James Clapper has eight pages on Google with the search "Clapper Watergate". Social Media is onboard. The former pinnacle of democratic unity was ousting Nixon. The "existential threat" of "Trump" has resulted in what is being called "Trump Derangement Syndrome". (Wow this is a lot of quotes). The new azimuth of the resistance is ousting Trump.

As I write this, the rage of "Russian Collusion" is losing some steam after two non-stop years. The Cult is shifting to "Trump is Insane". More Later in the denoument.

I was going to devote pages of deranged hateful quotes and news articles here. But this book is not about "Trump Derangement Syndrome". This Chapter is about John Brennan. So to move forward for even the dumbest lefties, asumming unwisely some of you are reading , I think only two of Brennan's tweets will get the point across.

Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of “high crimes & misdemeanors.” It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican Patriots: Where are you???

Brennan's Dark Chapter

Brennan began his CIA career as an analyst and spent 25 years with the agency. He was a daily intelligence briefer for President Bill Clinton. In 1996, he was CIA station chief in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, when the Khobar Towers bombing killed 19 U.S. servicemen and 498 more were injured and maimed. His intelligence failure to stop or detect the attack apparently was not a problem. He got promoted.

According to Wikipedia: After the bombing of Khobar Towers, the U.S. military and intelligence community came under heavy criticism for their lack of preparation and foresight for what was considered an intelligence failure. According to the New York Times, "significant shortcomings in planning, intelligence, and basic security left American forces in Saudi Arabia vulnerable."

Numerous warnings had been made available to the intelligence community and military command, and up to "ten incidences [were] reported suggesting that the Khobar Towers are under surveillance" from April to June, 1996. These warnings came both before and after the beheadings of 4 Saudi nationals after their publicly confessed role in the November 1995 attacks in Riyadh. Clinton Administration officials admit that they "received a wave of threats against Americans and American installations in Saudi Arabia" in the weeks leading up to the attack, "but failed to prepare adequately for a bomb of the power that killed 19 American military personnel." Threats were also downplayed by the Saudis when Defense Minister Prince Sultan bin Abd al-Aziz al-Saud characterized acts carried out by Saudi Islamic Jihadists in 1995 as "boyish," and stated that the Saudi "Kingdom is not influenced by threats".

Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) commented during a Senate intelligence committee meeting by saying "there was no intelligence failure ... there had been more than 100 intelligence reports on alerts of a general nature, and very specific reports" of an extant and present threat to the Khobar Towers complex.

The CIA was blamed for misjudging the bomb-making capabilities of Saudi militants, arbitrarily deciding that no bomb could exceed the size of that used in the November 1995 bombings in Riyadh (200 lbs). According to official U.S. government estimates, the Khobar bomb weighed in at approximately 5,000 pounds.

American commanders were also blamed, as they had not taken every precaution advised by the Pentagon; specifically, because "the project was deemed too costly," they had failed to implement a recommendation to coat Khobar's windows with plastic to prevent shrapnel penetration. The main security concern at the Khobar Towers compound before the bombing had been the prevention of an attack similar to the 1983 Beirut barracks bombings, when a vehicle-bomb entered the compound itself. Yet the Pentagon's report from that incident suggested, as did the Khobar report, that a Beirut-sized bomb would still have caused significant damage from as far as 300 feet away. Officials concluded with the observation that bomb size was less important to the production of catastrophic results than that same bomb's effective proximity (blast radius).

Is spite of the carnage and incompetance under his watch, in 1999, Brennan was appointed chief of staff to George Tenet, then-Director of the CIA. Brennan became deputy executive director of the CIA in March 2001. He was director of the newly created Terrorist Threat Integration Center from 2003 to 2004, an office that sifted through and compiled information for President Bush's daily top secret intelligence briefings and employed the services of analysts from a dozen U.S. agencies and entities. This was a perfect example of the "Peter Principle".

Brennan's Darker Chapter

Brennan then left government service for a few years, becoming Chairman of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) and the CEO of The Analysis Corporation (TAC). He continued to lead TAC after its acquisition by Global Strategies Group in 2007 and its growth as the Global Intelligence Solutions division of Global's North American technology business GTEC, before returning to government service with the Obama administration as Homeland Security Advisor on January 20, 2009. What brought him back?

Before returning to government service in the Obama Administration, Brennan's firm, The Analysis Corporation, was involved in a scandal. In 2008 Brennan was listed as an advisor to the Obama Campaign. Brennan's firm The Analysis Corp, did some work for Obama. There was a problem with Obama's passport file. The "Birther Controversy" was emerging.

What follows is some data and facts are incontravertible.

The Washington Post published an article "Obama should fire Brennan". A few days later "The Atlantic" published an article "Does John Brennan Know Too Much for Obama to Fire Him?""

What is usually chalked up to right wing conspiricy theory, was also confirmed by the Washington Times and the New York Times. Obama's Passport file was hacked. This was a result of the work Brennan did for Obama. He sanitized Obama's passport before the election. This is how he got hired and why he could never be fired. This was under investigation at the FBI until one of Brennan's employees, Lt. Quarles Harris, Jr., would end up executed - shot in the head - the day before his scheduled cooperation with the FBI.

Here is some more on this darker chapter.

John O Brennan For CIA ? I Guess Folks Have Forgotten He Owned The Analysis Corp – The firm that was cited in March 2008 for penetrating the files of presidential candidates Barack Obama, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and John McCain in the State Department’s passport office.
Posted on January 10, 2013 by sundance

Now that President Obama has done what we expected him to do, albeit 5 years later than expected, it is important to remember exactly who John O Brennan is and what questions existed in 2008/09′.

As the New York Times published Monday:

WASHINGTON — President Obama’s nomination on Monday of John O. Brennan as director of the Central Intelligence Agency puts one of his closest and most powerful aides in charge of an agency that has been transformed by more than a decade of secret wars.  (link)

BRENNAN-articleLarge-v2

John O. Brennan, Obama’s top terrorism and intelligence adviser is the owner of The Analysis Corp., the firm that was cited in March 2008 for penetrating the files of presidential candidates Barack Obama, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and John McCain in the State Department’s passport office.

At the time of the breach, Brennan was working as an unpaid adviser to the Obama campaign.   After the breach was revealed by the Washington Times Brennan stated:

“This individual’s actions were taken without the knowledge or direction of anyone at The Analysis Corp. and are wholly inconsistent with our professional and ethical standards,” Brennan’s company said in a statement sent to reporters after the passport breach was made public.  (link)

The Washington Times Reported – Passport application data includes such details as date and place of birth,  e-mail address, mailing address, Social Security number, former names and travel  plans. Mr. Obama was born in Honolulu in 1961 to a Kenyan father and American  mother. He lived in Jakarta, Indonesia, from age six to 10.

Computer-monitoring equipment detected the activities by the three employees  on Jan. 9, Feb. 21 and March 14, triggering alarms in each case, Mr. McCormack  said.  Mr. McCormack said the officials accessed Mr. Obama’s records “without a need  to do so.”

“In each case, we immediately contacted our contractors, their employer, and  two were fired and one was disciplined,” he said.  (link)

But it is important to remember EXACTLY what Brennan’s background was prior to the State Department breach.   Brennan spent 25 years working for the CIA prior to the security breach:

Mr. Brennan spent most of his C.I.A. career as an analyst, but during the 1990s served a tour as the chief of the station in Saudi Arabia.  From 1999 to early 2001, he was chief of staff to  George J. Tenet, the director of central intelligence, as the position was then called. At the end of his C.I.A. service, in 2004 and 2005, Mr. Brennan set up what is now the counterterrorism center.  (link)

Yet people would have you believe after 25 years within the CIA, and after being the Chief of Staff to the Director, and after being the person who set up the counter terrorism center, and after being the CIA approved contractor for the State dept.,  well, he just didn't know that someone from his firm was penetrating the passport files within the State Dept. on three occasions in January and February to look at information of the candidate who he was specifically working for….. you getting this?

Well, that was their story, and they stuck to it in 2008.

After the initial inquiry, federal investigators maintained the target of the illegal activity was Obama’s passport file.   It does not take a stretch to come to the conclusion this was for the sole purpose of cleansing the records of information that would jeopardize Obama’s candidacy.    As many people speculated at the time, the breach of the passport records of the other candidates was merely to create confusion.

Brennan was, at the time, an unpaid advisor working with Obama’s campaign. Passport files include an applicant’s name, gender, social security number, date and place of birth, and passport number. Additional information may include birth certificates, naturalization certificates, or oaths of allegiance for U.S. born persons who adopted the citizenship of a foreign country as minors.

It is important to remember the oversight agency who would be investigating the breach  – The Senate Foreign Relations Committee oversees the State Department.

Senator Joe Biden, now Vice President Biden, was the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee at the time the breach would be investigated .

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice phoned Obama and personally apologized for the breach. “I told him that I myself would be very disturbed if I learned that somebody had looked into my passport file,” Rice told reporters. She phoned Clinton and McCain and offered similar apologies.

Following the breach, State Department managers met with Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Joseph Biden, whose committee has oversight over the Foreign Service and the passport office.  (link)

…..And, well, what do you know?….  Biden became the VP pick of Obama.

The ex VP, Joe Biden, is now leading the polls as the democratic front runner in the 2020 presidential election.

Also, in mid February 2010, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs alerted WH reporters who regularly cover daily events that certain questions about Obama’s job with Business International Corporation (BIC) would not be subject to discussion.

BIC was well-known in Washington DC to be a front company for the CIA, hence many speculated the State Department passport records were scrubbed to erase any mention of Obama’s CIA activities and his personal information;  it would not be too long a dotted line to the false story claim of Columbia University attendance.

But it became over-the-top suspicious when the State Department employee, Lt. Quarles Harris, Jr. who had the access, and apparently was the one who penetrated the database and scrubbed the records, was killed – April 18th 2008.

Lt. Harris decided to cooperate with the FBI who was investigating the break-in.   Soon after his cooperation became a matter of record his body was discovered in his parked car;  He had been shot in the head, described as execution style.

Think any of that will come up in any confirmation hearings?   Unfortunately, not likely.

But perhaps the Senate might broach the following issue:   Senators should question him about an article he wrote in an obscure foreign policy magazine over the summer of 2008.

The article, entitled “The Conundrum of Iran: Strengthening Moderates without Acquiescing to Belligerence,” appeared in the July issue of “The Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science.”

Among other recommendations, it argued that the next U.S. administration should grant political legitimacy to the terrorist organizations Hezbollah and Hamas, and should exercise “strategic patience” with Iran rather than engaging in “bellicose” rhetoric and coercive diplomacy.  (link)

Remember that complete failure of an outstretched hand toward Iran?   Remember the complete failure of the Obama administration to support the Green Party uprising in Iran?  Remember all of that insufferable stupidity.?

Obama - Kaboom

From Brennan’s  Abstract:

After nearly three decades of antagonistic rhetoric and diplomatic estrangement between the United States and Iran, the next president has the opportunity to set a new course for relations between the two countries.

When the next president takes up residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Iranian officials will be listening. The president must implement a policy of engagement that encourages moderates in Iran without implying tolerance for Tehran’s historic support of terrorist activities.

This strategy will require patience and sensitivity to the complex political realities inside Iran. To successfully chart a new course for U.S.-Iranian relations, the next president must (1) tone down rhetoric; (2) establish a direct dialogue with Tehran, including comprehensive, private discussions and deployment of a special envoy; (3) encourage greater assimilation of Hezbollah into Lebanon’s political system; and (4) offer carrots in addition to sticks, including consideration of legitimate Iranian concerns on regional security issues.

– John Brennan July, 2008

Dead bodies are piling up

Some of you may remember the secretive attack on Journalists in 2013. This was also the year that FISA section 702 abuses increased dramatically. As it turns out Obama really did not like negative press stories at all. So instead of early morning tweets about Fake News and his folksly jibes at FOX, he turned to his trusty hit man. Whitey Bulger had Stevie "the rifleman" Flemmi. Barack had John "not a good idea to piss off" Brennan. Several lives would be ruined and one gifted liberal journalist would end up dead.

The result of Obama turning Brennan loose was wholesale spying on journalists. This coincided with the skyrockeyting FISA section 702 reported abuses. The "scandal free" Obama intelligence community was aimed at what used to be a free press. Rather than recounting this Big Brother nightmare. I will just include a link to the 75,000 hits on bing to this prescient scandal that was buried and now mostly forgotten. Big Brother never stops, we forget and move on. The effects were chilling to a formerly free press. What was then not known is how the Obama Administration would continue to use NSA data mining for political purposes.

Reporters were now possibly guilty of espionage by simply reporting. Brennan had advocated a policy of "collusion" in that reporters that were simply reporting information or speech handed to them were now engaged in a conspiracy to commit espionage. This was one of the first attempts to turn "collusion" into a crime. A theme that would continue with Brennan for years. A theme that would dominate the CIA working group at Langely.

Reporters from the Associated Press and James Rosen of Fox News had the full weight of the Federal Government descend on them. This was a wholesale, huge Federal apparatus that tracked every move you made, bugged every call, text, email, web search or just a harmless picture upload. They then broke into your home in the early morning hours and siezed any and all personal items you owned that they deemed germane. Maybe leave a horrible mess just to let you know you have been vandalized.

This was political. It only happened to those that pissed off Obama and Brennan. It wasn't based on law. It was a whim. But those in power, "reinterpreted the law". They got away with it. Apparently only a aging bunch of Liberals like the 80 year old Alan Dershowitz would seek to reign in Big Brother. The progressive new Turks in Obama Admin were off and running.

Although this is so wrong, it might be legal. FISA is very permissive but very secret. America is still under the impression that a warrant for a "wiretap" will result in somebody climbing into a phone closet and attaching alligator clips to your phone line.

It has not worked this way for over 30 years. It happens on the Internet backbone, with the cooperation/intimidation of your Internet Service Provider. Under FISA section 702 and Executive Order 12333 there are "alligator clips" on every phone attached to the network all the time. All of this data and meta data is collected and stored by the NSA. Yes including your's. The warrant just allows access to the mammoth pile of stored data in the form of a data search. There are NO rules on the collection of your data. Only rules on the search. The search can go back to times and calls that precede the warrant date.

The "system" can claim they were working under their interpretation of the law. In this case every one of James Rosen's and the AP reporters phone calls, emails, texts and web history was obtained. According to Brennan, there was probable cause and the secret FISA court agreed. They got the warrant. Those of you that hate Edward Snowden may want to thank him for exposing some of this abuse. While your at it thank the original patriot, William Binney.

Sometimes someone smarter than the Kafkaesque bureaucrats can expose the wrongs.

Enter Michael Hastings

Michael Hastings was a fearless and gifted reporter who worked and published on Rolling Stone and Buzzfeed. He also had a podcast on Young Turks. His scathing article in Rolling Stone on four star General Stanley McChrystal ended McChrystal's heroic yet storied career. Hastings was a classic liberal. But the tying of reporters to the crime of espionage by Eric Holder, John Brennan and the Obama Administration pitted Hasting's classic liberalism against the "progessive" new left. Things were progressing into totalitarianism. The sordid cases of the AP and James Rosen were just the tip of the iceberg. Hasting's decision to go off the radar, showed he had much more on the story.

If the blowback was a right wing source on the story, it would easily be spun into the usual vast right wing conspiracy boneyard. Nothing to see here move along. Hide it for a while and this would be an old story. If however, the story came from the left, the blowback would be almost impossible to stop. Michael Hastings had impeccable liberal credentials. Hastings had a huge following. If the Obama/Holder/Brennan attack on a free press came from him, how could it be spun? How could it be denied? How could it be stopped?

According to Hastings, John Brennan and the CIA were on a "witch hunt" (his words) to silence or even imprison critical reporters. He told friends and colleagues that this was the biggest story of his career. Michael Hastings was a liberal in the classic tradition, not an Obamacist. Hastings unfortunely like Lt. Quarles Harris and Seth Rich, would end up dead. "not a good idea to piss of John Brennan"

On June 17, 2013 Hastings sent an email to his editor at BuzzFeed, saying that “the Feds are interviewing my ‘close friends and associates.’" (Hasting's already knew that these interviews come long after the CIA/NSA/DOJ searches into his entire life.) His email continued, "Perhaps if the authorities arrive ‘BuzzFeed GQ,’ er HQ, may be wise to immediately request legal counsel before any conversations or interviews about our news-gathering practices or related journalism issues.”
Hastings added: “Also: I’m onto a big story, and need to go off the radar for a bit.”
The big story was about Brennan, who has been described in secret emails from the president of CIA contractor Stratfor, Fred Burton – and released by Wikileaks – as being on a “witch hunt” against investigative journalists.
At 4:30 AM that night, his Mercedes went out of control and blew up on Highland in downtown Los Angeles. His body was burned beyond recognition.

Hastings widow, Elise Jordan confirmed on Piers Morgan’s show on CNN that the story Hastings was working on at the time of his death was about Brennan. She added that the story will appear in an upcoming issue of Rolling Stone magazine. It's been over five years and the story has still not appeared anywhere. Maybe his death sent a message?

There is of course rampant speculation on Hasting's death. As usual any death connected to the government is labeled a tin foil hat conspiricy. But the CIA has provably killed hundreds if not thousands over the years.

Who Killed Michael Hastings

The takeover of an auto portions of this video has been cooborated years later by the Snowden Leaks. Whether or not Hastings was assasinated to silence him is not germane to the crimes he was about to expose. The Obama Administration's hit man that you don't want to piss off is messing with American liberty. I have a problem with that. So did the late Michael Hastings. So did Edward Snowden and Bill Binney.

Odd deaths at inopportune times seem to crop up at the CIA over and over.

Who Killed Seth Rich?

Do a web search for this query and there are 2.6 million results. Here is a reprint of number one.

Seth Rich and 4 Others Killed within 6 weeks of each other

Background on Seth Rich

Seth Rich was a 27-year-old DNC staffer and Bernie Sanders supporter. He got wise to the shenanigans of the DNC as they worked to rob the nomination from Bernie so Hillary Clinton would get it.

Seth sent at least 20-40,000 e-mails with 13,000 attachments to WikiLeaks.  A few weeks before the election he was walking home from his girlfriend’s apartment at 4 a.m. in a nice section of Washington D.C. when he was shot twice in the back and killed. The police defined it as a botched robbery, though evidence does not seem to support it. His wallet, expensive gold, cell phone and gold necklace were not taken.
There is supposedly a tape showing two men doing it, but it is being held by the D.C. police.

Media deflecting

The Mainstream Media (MSM) is pushing invalidated, unsubstantiated and crazy conspiratorial stories about President Trump colluding with Russia to win last year’s election. But liberal media won’t touch the story about former DNC staffer Seth Rich being gunned down in Washington DC last year.

Democrats and their media continue to push the false tale that Trump worked with Russia to steal the 2016 Presidential election.  This lie is being promoted on all media outlets as a matter of fact even though there is  no evidence to support the accusation.  Democrats and the MSM have argued that Trump somehow supplied DNC emails to WikiLeaks that impacted the election and gave the victory to Trump.  This is false. For example, DNC  emails were released by WikiLeaks before the election but for the most part, the MSM ignored them.  Also, the emails contained information that showed unethical, if not criminal, actions by John Podesta and Hillary Clinton before the campaign, but there is no information to date that proves that the emails released were in any way false or made up.

In one of his e-mails sent out Podesta said: “the leaker must be made an example of.” The Wiki Leaks e-mails revealed that John Podesta and Robbie Mook concocted the Russia/Trump story before the election and released it within 24 hours of Hillary losing.

DNC Cover Up

In a groundbreaking report, it was discovered that Donna Brazile, former DNC Chairwoman, and high-ranking DNC rep, tried to put an end into the Seth Rich investigations. Ms. Brazile allegedly called the private investigator handling the case, accused him of “snooping” and demanded to know why the investigation was still going on.

“The high-ranking DNC official that called the police after I inquired about Rich’s case was Donna Brazile,” veteran homicide detective Rod Wheeler told WND. “Why shouldn’t I reveal who it was?”

A spokesman for the Rich family has repeatedly criticized Detective Wheeler, who was hired by Rich’s family in March to find the DNC staffer’s murderer, for not ruling out the possibility that Rich may have leaked DNC emails to WikiLeaks. The Rich family recently sent Wheeler a “cease and desist” order to stop his investigation into the murder.

The acting spokesperson for the family of the late DNC staffer and suspected WikiLeaks source Seth Rich is a man named Brad Bauman who happens to be directly connected to Media Matters founder and George Soros-backed propagandist David Brock.

Disobedient Media has previously reported that Brock and his affiliated organizations have ties to the Chinese government, foreign special interests, and organized crime. Brock’s ties to foreign interests may mean that he is in violation of the Foreign Agent Registration Act, 22 U.S.C. § 614.

Brock’s organizations have been active in harassing and attacking journalists looking into the Seth Rich story. Affiliates of Brock have taken to Change.org to attack companies advertising with Fox 5 DC. The boycott campaign is organized by Karl Frisch, a former senior fellow at propaganda group Media Matters for America who spent his time at the organization helping develop “long-term strategy to target Fox News as a political actor.” Media Matters has also targeted Fox News anchor Sean Hannity for discussing the case.

In August Wikileaks  offered a $20,000 reward for information on the murder of DNC staffer Seth Rich. Julian Assange also suggested in August that Seth Rich was a Wikileaks informant.

Conservative Media Feels the Pressure

Radio and TV Talk show host Sean Hannity was hot on the trail of the Seth Rich murder when he was suddenly contacted by Seth’s brother and told to quit talking about his brother because it was very hurtful to the family. Why wouldn’t they want their son’s murder caught and exposed?  Sounds like they were pressured to stop him by higher-ups.

Now one of the sons of Rupert Murdoch, the executive chair of Fox News, reportedly pressured Sean Hannity to drop coverage of the Seth Rich investigation.

Following Sean Hannity’s embarrassing buckling on coverage of the Seth Rich case, sources at Fox News told Big League Politics that he was pressured to relent by one of the Murdoch’s sons, “One of the Murdoch sons was all up his ass over this,” another insider told Big League Politics.

While his statements on the show indicated that he was cowering to Media Matters, who had called for a boycott of his advertisers — it seems that one of Murdoch’s sons was actually behind it.

During a broadcast of his show Tuesday night, Hannity said that he had spoken with the family of Seth Rich earlier in the day, and that “out of respect for the family’s wishes, for now, I am not discussing this matter at this time.”

After the show aired however, he claimed he was inching ever closer to “the truth” behind the DNC staffer’s murder, something he would not stop trying to attain..

John Owen Brennan's darkest chapter

Murder is considered a serious crime. But Brennan would eclipse this low with his attempt to rule the Nation. Late in 2015 John Brennan requested raw intelligence reports from Richard Hannigan of Britain's GCHQ (who would retire three days after Trump was elected) and Sir Richard Dearlove. The London Telegraph reported this communication. Trump was still a blip on the radar, but a big one. The big report was one from Estonia. Estonia reported Russians were funding Trump's campaign and they had a tape. This would later be proven as invented. But these reports are what put the itch in Brennan's ass. According to Brennan this is when the "Russia Investigation" started. His response was to create an "Inter-Agency Task Force" at CIA headquarters in Langley, Virgina.

The taskforce included six agencies or departments of government. The FBI, Treasury, and DOJ handled the domestic inquiry. The CIA and Office of the Director of National Intelligence handled foreign and intelligence aspects.

The was one notable absence in Brennan's Interagency Task Force. The head of the most powerful Intelligence Agency in America, the NSA. The only man in power in America that tried to stop FISA abuse. Admiral Mike Rogers. Clapper and Brennan would later lobby Obama to fire Rogers.

What was the culture of this task force? He is an article by George Neumayr writing for The American Spectator.

John Brennan’s Plot to Infiltrate the Trump Campaign

George Neumayr May 22, 2018, 12:05 am

It came out of his “inter-agency taskforce” at Langley. As Trump won primary after primary in 2016, a rattled John Brennan started claiming to colleagues at the CIA that Estonia’s intelligence agency had alerted him to an intercepted phone call suggesting Putin was pouring money into the Trump campaign. The tip was bogus, but Brennan bit on it with opportunistic relish.

Out of Brennan’s alarmist chatter about the bogus tip came an extraordinary leak to the BBC: that Brennan had used it, along with later half-baked tips from British intelligence, as the justification to form a multi-agency spy operation (given the Orwellian designation of an “inter-agency taskforce”) on the Trump campaign, which he was running right out of CIA headquarters.

The CIA was furious about the leak, but never denied the BBC’s story. To Congress earlier this year, Brennan acknowledged the existence of the group, but cast his role in it as the mere conduit of tips about Trump-Russia collusion: “It was well beyond my mandate as director of CIA to follow on any of those leads that involved U.S. persons. But I made sure that anything that was involving U.S. persons, including anything involving the individuals involved in the Trump campaign, was shared with the bureau.”

But if his role had truly been passive, the “inter-agency taskforce” wouldn’t have been meeting at CIA headquarters. By keeping its discussions at Langley, Brennan could keep his finger wedged in the pie. Both before and after the FBI’s official probe began in late July 2016, Brennan was bringing together into the same room at CIA headquarters a cast of Trump haters across the Obama administration whose activities he could direct — from Peter Strzok, the FBI liaison to Brennan, to the doltish Jim Clapper, Brennan’s errand boy, to an assortment of Brennan’s buddies at the Treasury Department, Justice Department, and White House.

The bogus tip from Estonia led the group into its first cock-up: sending FBI agents to sniff around the computer server connected to Trump Tower. After that effort backfired, Brennan’s group had to go back to the drawing board (on the electronic intelligence front, it had already hatched plans for national security letters and FISA warrants). Someone in the group must have proposed blasting a swampy old CIA source and Hillary supporter, Stefan Halper, into the Trump campaign orbit to see if he could catch a couple of minor campaign volunteers out in collusion.

Halper had entered the Deep State through a door opened by his father-in-law, Ray Cline, whose work for the CIA was legendary. Behind that door Halper found a treasure trove of jobs and government contracts, making his life as a transatlantic jet-setting academic possible. Brennan’s Langley group had access to Halper’s file and sized him up as the perfect embed: a Republican-oriented foreign policy scholar who could plausibly interact with Trump officials while serving as a nexus between the CIA and Brennan’s friends in British intelligence. Halper’s ties to Richard Dearlove, a former head of British intelligence, are well known, and Halper knows Alexander Downer, the pub-crawling Aussie diplomat, through a mutual association with Cambridge University.

That Halper came out of the brainstorming of Brennan’s group is clear from the fact that his first known meeting with Carter Page preceded the formal opening of the FBI’s probe. The Washington Post hinted at the role of Brennan’s group in hatching Halper: Many questions about the informant’s role in the Russia investigation remain unanswered. It is unclear how he first became involved in the case, the extent of the information he provided and the actions he took to obtain intelligence for the FBI. It is also unknown whether his July 2016 interaction with [Carter] Page was brokered by the FBI or another intelligence agency.

The FBI commonly uses sources and informants to gather evidence and its regulations allow for use of informants even before a formal investigation has been opened. In many law enforcement investigations, the use of sources and informants precedes more invasive techniques such as electronic surveillance. A veteran of the intelligence community tells TAS that Brennan’s CIA was full of Hillary supporters, some of whom decorated their desks with her campaign paraphernalia. Brennan, whom the press noted would walk the halls of the CIA in an LGBT rainbow lanyard, encouraged this open political atmosphere. While Brennan knew his spying operation on the Trump campaign was an “exceptionally, exceptionally sensitive” matter (as reported by journalists David Corn and Michael Isikoff), he assumed its machinations would never come to light.

The members of Brennan’s working group at Langley “were just a bunch of out-of-control idiots,” says a former high-ranking CIA official to TAS. He finds it flabbergasting that Brennan would bring CIA officials and FBI officials into the same room to cook up schemes to send a spy into the Trump campaign’s ranks. One of those schemes involved money (Halper paid George Papadopoulos $3,000 for a phony research paper as a way of luring him into a London meeting); another involved sex (Halper’s assistant, with a name out of a bad spy novel, Azra Turk, tried to coax information from Papadopoulos at flirty bar outings, according to the Daily Caller’s Chuck Ross).

Like Brennan, Halper didn’t bother to hide his support for Hillary even as he conducted this infiltration. He told the press that he feared a Trump presidency, as it could harm the “special relationship” between the United States and Great Britain. That rationale must have figured into Alexander Downer’s motivation for working with Brennan’s Langley group too. Downer traveled in the same elitist circles as Christopher Steele, Halper, and John Kerry. It appears he sent word of his boozy evening with Papadopoulos back to Brennan’s group through these circles — either through Hillary partisans at the State Department or through Clinton Foundation channels, for whom he had worked as a kind of bag man.

Halper had come up empty, so Brennan’s group at Langley went with Downer’s tale, as feeble as it was. But it at least had the advantage of coming from a “diplomat.” Yet if Congressman Nunes is right and the originating document for the FBI probe doesn’t even contain a reference to an official intelligence product passed to Brennan from the Australian government, Downer’s hearsay must have been exceedingly flaky, so flaky no one would want to be on the record treating it as “evidence” for something as momentous as a probe into a presidential campaign.

Following the establishment of the inter-agency task force it was reported a FISA warrant was sought in June 2016: Lawyers from the National Security Division in the Department of Justice drew up an application. They took it to the secret US court that deals with intelligence, the FISA court. They wanted permission to intercept electronic records from two Russian banks. Their first application, in June [2016], was rejected outright by the judge. In 5 years 33,000 warrants were granted. This one of only 11 in 5 years not rubber stamped by the secret court. It must have been extremely flaky. According to Jay Sekulow on Fox news, He stated that three FISA warrant application were denied before one got approved.

Brennan’s May 23, 2017 House Intelligence testimony provided the ultimate evidence as to what was transpiring: "I was aware of intelligence and information about contacts between Russian officials and U.S. persons that raised concerns in my mind about whether or not those individuals were cooperating [talking] with the Russians, either in a witting or unwitting fashion, and it served as the basis for the FBI investigation to determine whether such collusion — cooperation occurred."

Why this is so terrifying is Brennan acknowledges talking, which I hope is still legal. Among who is not clear. Witting or un-witting is an irrelevant canard and prosecutorial doublespeak. But Brennan unequivically states that the determination of "collusion-cooperation", which is not a crime, may have never happened. Further Brennan states that questions were raised "in my mind" and that questions in Brennan's mind "served as the basis for the FBI investigation".

What happened next could happen to you or anyone if you are a "question" in the mind of John Brennan. Are all of you getting it yet? Where are the liberals? Brennan had questions "in his mind" and then unleashed the power of the Federal Government on one person with his Orwellian Inter Agency Task Force. Brennan's task force did not have a suspect, they had a target.

Brennan was on an "I hate Trump" fishing expedition. In the word's of Joseph Stalin, "Show me the man, I will show you the crime".

Did John Brennan commit a crime?

It is possible that in Brennan's zeal to defeat Trump and later to have him thrown out of office, no crimes were committed? Maybe. How could that be possible? The Constitution of the United States. The foresight of our founding fathers thought that overthrow of the government should be tolerated, or maybe even encouraged. The Constitution has little to say about insurrection. But our founders expressed their opinions.

The term "Tree of Liberty" is associated with a quotation from a 1787 letter written by Thomas Jefferson to William Stephens Smith: "What country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two?
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants."

The Cultural mis-appropriation of Jefferson's "the spirit of resistence" from our founding fathers has been turned upside down. Our socialist big government has co-opted this term and foisted the concept on the mob. The government has no money. They create nothing. They produce nothing. They only have what they sieze from patriots. The resistance is just a class war, not a patriotic expression. Sieze your neighboor's wealth. The fascist brownshirt masked Antifa is equally guilty of cultural mis-appropriation.
Brennan did what he did for this pile of crap.

The founding fathers were prescient. They understood the evil of Government. In a two party system, their are double sets of evil. There are two competing power bases associated with both parties vying for control. The bases are those that buy into the party line. These two bases in the process of usurping power have been taught and inculcated to hate. This hatred and their reliance on govermnment has taught them the proper course of action is to "Lock them Up". There is no longer a dispassionate intellectual discussion and perusal of issues. The disagreements have gone beyond passion an into a secular fanaticism.

As I write this, both Trump and Anti-Trump want to lock up the other side. The hatred is so thick you can cut it with a knife. The death of John McCain symbolized one of the last willing to cross the aisle. But even his service was marred by not inviting the sitting President of the United States to his carefully constructed funeral. Hell, he didn't even invite his running mate, Sarah Palin. Joe Biden gave an impassioned, eloquent speech about reaching across the aisle to unify America in which he broke down in tears. About a week later in his run up to the Presidency Biden said, "Instead of using the full might of the executive branch to secure justice, dignity, and safety for all, the President uses the White House as a literal, literal bully pulpit, callously exerting his power over those who have little or none." Nice reach across the aisle Joe. I am not so sure our President will be working with you.

Thankfully there is a huge portion of the population that don't know or don't care about the extremes and hypocrisy of politics. This is the vast middle, that seldom vote, but whose numbers determine elections. The whole Russia Hoax to the vast middle has been bullshit. When all is said and done, some will be locked up. Some Trump and probably far more Anti-Trump will be convicted. But the lasting legacy of Trump Russia will be not the convictions, but the perceptions of those less involved. What will the be the legacy of John Brennan? What will be the legacy of this era? It probably will not be great. Extreme hatred breeds humble peanut farmers.

The CIA has always been above (or below) the law. Did he collude. Yes. Is this against the law? No. Did he overstep his bounds as to the CIA charter? Assuradely. Was he overtly biased and political? No doubt. But this is the CIA. The CIA has a long and ignomineous history of horrific law breaking. Steve Kangas has put together a timeline of the CIA and their atrocities. It ends predictibly from a lefty with the Clinton era. But CIA horrors still continue to this day.

A Timeline of CIA Atrocities

by Steve Kangas

The following timeline describes just a few of the hundreds of atrocities and crimes committed by the CIA.

CIA operations follow the same recurring script. First, American business interests abroad are threatened by a popular or democratically elected leader. The people support their leader because he intends to conduct land reform, strengthen unions, redistribute wealth, nationalize foreign-owned industry, and regulate business to protect workers, consumers and the environment. So, on behalf of American business, and often with their help, the CIA mobilizes the opposition. First it identifies right-wing groups within the country (usually the military), and offers them a deal: "We'll put you in power if you maintain a favorable business climate for us." The Agency then hires, trains and works with them to overthrow the existing government (usually a democracy). It uses every trick in the book: propaganda, stuffed ballot boxes, purchased elections, extortion, blackmail, sexual intrigue, false stories about opponents in the local media, infiltration and disruption of opposing political parties, kidnapping, beating, torture, intimidation, economic sabotage, death squads and even assassination. These efforts culminate in a military coup, which installs a right-wing dictator. The CIA trains the dictator's security apparatus to crack down on the traditional enemies of big business, using interrogation, torture and murder. The victims are said to be "communists," but almost always they are just peasants, liberals, moderates, labor union leaders, political opponents and advocates of free speech and democracy. Widespread human rights abuses follow.

This scenario has been repeated so many times that the CIA actually teaches it in a special school, the notorious "School of the Americas." (It opened in Panama but later moved to Fort Benning, Georgia.) Critics have nicknamed it the "School of the Dictators" and "School of the Assassins." Here, the CIA trains Latin American military officers how to conduct coups, including the use of interrogation, torture and murder.

The Association for Responsible Dissent estimates that by 1987, 6 million people had died as a result of CIA covert operations. (2) Former State Department official William Blum correctly calls this an "American Holocaust."

The CIA justifies these actions as part of its war against communism. But most coups do not involve a communist threat. Unlucky nations are targeted for a wide variety of reasons: not only threats to American business interests abroad, but also liberal or even moderate social reforms, political instability, the unwillingness of a leader to carry out Washington's dictates, and declarations of neutrality in the Cold War. Indeed, nothing has infuriated CIA Directors quite like a nation's desire to stay out of the Cold War.

The ironic thing about all this intervention is that it frequently fails to achieve American objectives. Often the newly installed dictator grows comfortable with the security apparatus the CIA has built for him. He becomes an expert at running a police state. And because the dictator knows he cannot be overthrown, he becomes independent and defiant of Washington's will. The CIA then finds it cannot overthrow him, because the police and military are under the dictator's control, afraid to cooperate with American spies for fear of torture and execution. The only two options for the U.S at this point are impotence or war. Examples of this "boomerang effect" include the Shah of Iran, General Noriega and Saddam Hussein. The boomerang effect also explains why the CIA has proven highly successful at overthrowing democracies, but a wretched failure at overthrowing dictatorships.

The following timeline should confirm that the CIA as we know it should be abolished and replaced by a true information-gathering and analysis organization. The CIA cannot be reformed — it is institutionally and culturally corrupt.

1929

The culture we lost — Secretary of State Henry Stimson refuses to endorse a code-breaking operation, saying, "Gentlemen do not read each other's mail."

1941

COI created — In preparation for World War II, President Roosevelt creates the Office of Coordinator of Information (COI). General William "Wild Bill" Donovan heads the new intelligence service.

1942

OSS created — Roosevelt restructures COI into something more suitable for covert action, the Office of Strategic Services (OSS). Donovan recruits so many of the nation's rich and powerful that eventually people joke that "OSS" stands for "Oh, so social!" or "Oh, such snobs!"

1943

Italy — Donovan recruits the Catholic Church in Rome to be the center of Anglo-American spy operations in Fascist Italy. This would prove to be one of America's most enduring intelligence alliances in the Cold War.

1945

OSS is abolished — The remaining American information agencies cease covert actions and return to harmless information gathering and analysis.

Operation PAPERCLIP ' While other American agencies are hunting down Nazi war criminals for arrest, the U.S. intelligence community is smuggling them into America, unpunished, for their use against the Soviets. The most important of these is Reinhard Gehlen, Hitler's master spy who had built up an intelligence network in the Soviet Union. With full U.S. blessing, he creates the "Gehlen Organization," a band of refugee Nazi spies who reactivate their networks in Russia. These include SS intelligence officers Alfred Six and Emil Augsburg (who massacred Jews in the Holocaust), Klaus Barbie (the "Butcher of Lyon"), Otto von Bolschwing (the Holocaust mastermind who worked with Eichmann) and SS Colonel Otto Skorzeny (a personal friend of Hitler's). The Gehlen Organization supplies the U.S. with its only intelligence on the Soviet Union for the next ten years, serving as a bridge between the abolishment of the OSS and the creation of the CIA. However, much of the "intelligence" the former Nazis provide is bogus. Gehlen inflates Soviet military capabilities at a time when Russia is still rebuilding its devastated society, in order to inflate his own importance to the Americans (who might otherwise punish him). In 1948, Gehlen almost convinces the Americans that war is imminent, and the West should make a preemptive strike. In the 50s he produces a fictitious "missile gap." To make matters worse, the Russians have thoroughly penetrated the Gehlen Organization with double agents, undermining the very American security that Gehlen was supposed to protect.

1947

Greece — President Truman requests military aid to Greece to support right-wing forces fighting communist rebels. For the rest of the Cold War, Washington and the CIA will back notorious Greek leaders with deplorable human rights records.

CIA created — President Truman signs the National Security Act of 1947, creating the Central Intelligence Agency and National Security Council. The CIA is accountable to the president through the NSC — there is no democratic or congressional oversight. Its charter allows the CIA to "perform such other functions and duties' as the National Security Council may from time to time direct." This loophole opens the door to covert action and dirty tricks.

1948

Covert-action wing created — The CIA recreates a covert action wing, innocuously called the Office of Policy Coordination, led by Wall Street lawyer Frank Wisner. According to its secret charter, its responsibilities include "propaganda, economic warfare, preventive direct action, including sabotage, antisabotage, demolition and evacuation procedures; subversion against hostile states, including assistance to underground resistance groups, and support of indigenous anti-communist elements in threatened countries of the free world."

Italy — The CIA corrupts democratic elections in Italy, where Italian communists threaten to win the elections. The CIA buys votes, broadcasts propaganda, threatens and beats up opposition leaders, and infiltrates and disrupts their organizations. It works -- the communists are defeated.

1949

Radio Free Europe — The CIA creates its first major propaganda outlet, Radio Free Europe. Over the next several decades, its broadcasts are so blatantly false that for a time it is considered illegal to publish transcripts of them in the U.S.

Late 40s

Operation MOCKINGBIRD — The CIA begins recruiting American news organizations and journalists to become spies and disseminators of propaganda. The effort is headed by Frank Wisner, Allan Dulles, Richard Helms and Philip Graham. Graham is publisher of The Washington Post, which becomes a major CIA player. Eventually, the CIA's media assets will include ABC, NBC, CBS, Time, Newsweek, Associated Press, United Press International, Reuters, Hearst Newspapers, Scripps-Howard, Copley News Service and more. By the CIA's own admission, at least 25 organizations and 400 journalists will become CIA assets.

1953

Iran ' CIA overthrows the democratically elected Mohammed Mossadegh in a military coup, after he threatened to nationalize British oil. The CIA replaces him with a dictator, the Shah of Iran, whose secret police, SAVAK, is as brutal as the Gestapo.

Operation MK-ULTRA — Inspired by North Korea's brainwashing program, the CIA begins experiments on mind control. The most notorious part of this project involves giving LSD and other drugs to American subjects without their knowledge or against their will, causing several to commit suicide. However, the operation involves far more than this. Funded in part by the Rockefeller and Ford foundations, research includes propaganda, brainwashing, public relations, advertising, hypnosis, and other forms of suggestion.

1954

Guatemala — CIA overthrows the democratically elected Jacob Arbenz in a military coup. Arbenz has threatened to nationalize the Rockefeller-owned United Fruit Company, in which CIA Director Allen Dulles also owns stock. Arbenz is replaced with a series of right-wing dictators whose bloodthirsty policies will kill over 100,000 Guatemalans in the next 40 years.

1954-1958

North Vietnam — CIA officer Edward Lansdale spends four years trying to overthrow the communist government of North Vietnam, using all the usual dirty tricks. The CIA also attempts to legitimize a tyrannical puppet regime in South Vietnam, headed by Ngo Dinh Diem. These efforts fail to win the hearts and minds of the South Vietnamese because the Diem government is opposed to true democracy, land reform and poverty reduction measures. The CIA's continuing failure results in escalating American intervention, culminating in the Vietnam War.

1956

Hungary — Radio Free Europe incites Hungary to revolt by broadcasting Khruschev's Secret Speech, in which he denounced Stalin. It also hints that American aid will help the Hungarians fight. This aid fails to materialize as Hungarians launch a doomed armed revolt, which only invites a major Soviet invasion. The conflict kills 7,000 Soviets and 30,000 Hungarians.

1957-1973

Laos — The CIA carries out approximately one coup per year trying to nullify Laos' democratic elections. The problem is the Pathet Lao, a leftist group with enough popular support to be a member of any coalition government. In the late 50s, the CIA even creates an "Armee Clandestine" of Asian mercenaries to attack the Pathet Lao. After the CIA's army suffers numerous defeats, the U.S. starts bombing, dropping more bombs on Laos than all the U.S. bombs dropped in World War II. A quarter of all Laotians will eventually become refugees, many living in caves.

1959

Haiti — The U.S. military helps "Papa Doc" Duvalier become dictator of Haiti. He creates his own private police force, the "Tonton Macoutes," who terrorize the population with machetes. They will kill over 100,000 during the Duvalier family reign. The U.S. does not protest their dismal human rights record.

1961

The Bay of Pigs — The CIA sends 1,500 Cuban exiles to invade Castro's Cuba. But "Operation Mongoose" fails, due to poor planning, security and backing. The planners had imagined that the invasion will spark a popular uprising against Castro -' which never happens. A promised American air strike also never occurs. This is the CIA's first public setback, causing President Kennedy to fire CIA Director Allen Dulles.

Dominican Republic — The CIA assassinates Rafael Trujillo, a murderous dictator Washington has supported since 1930. Trujillo's business interests have grown so large (about 60 percent of the economy) that they have begun competing with American business interests.

Ecuador — The CIA-backed military forces the democratically elected President Jose Velasco to resign. Vice President Carlos Arosemana replaces him; the CIA fills the now vacant vice presidency with its own man.

Congo (Zaire) — The CIA assassinates the democratically elected Patrice Lumumba. However, public support for Lumumba's politics runs so high that the CIA cannot clearly install his opponents in power. Four years of political turmoil follow.

1963

Dominican Republic — The CIA overthrows the democratically elected Juan Bosch in a military coup. The CIA installs a repressive, right-wing junta.

Ecuador — A CIA-backed military coup overthrows President Arosemana, whose independent (not socialist) policies have become unacceptable to Washington. A military junta assumes command, cancels the 1964 elections, and begins abusing human rights.

1964

Brazil — A CIA-backed military coup overthrows the democratically elected government of Joao Goulart. The junta that replaces it will, in the next two decades, become one of the most bloodthirsty in history. General Castelo Branco will create Latin America's first death squads, or bands of secret police who hunt down "communists" for torture, interrogation and murder. Often these "communists" are no more than Branco's political opponents. Later it is revealed that the CIA trains the death squads.

1965

Indonesia — The CIA overthrows the democratically elected Sukarno with a military coup. The CIA has been trying to eliminate Sukarno since 1957, using everything from attempted assassination to sexual intrigue, for nothing more than his declaring neutrality in the Cold War. His successor, General Suharto, will massacre between 500,000 to 1 million civilians accused of being "communist." The CIA supplies the names of countless suspects.

Dominican Republic — A popular rebellion breaks out, promising to reinstall Juan Bosch as the country's elected leader. The revolution is crushed when U.S. Marines land to uphold the military regime by force. The CIA directs everything behind the scenes.

Greece — With the CIA's backing, the king removes George Papandreous as prime minister. Papandreous has failed to vigorously support U.S. interests in Greece.

Congo (Zaire) — A CIA-backed military coup installs Mobutu Sese Seko as dictator. The hated and repressive Mobutu exploits his desperately poor country for billions.

1966

The Ramparts Affair — The radical magazine Ramparts begins a series of unprecedented anti-CIA articles. Among their scoops: the CIA has paid the University of Michigan $25 million dollars to hire "professors" to train South Vietnamese students in covert police methods. MIT and other universities have received similar payments. Ramparts also reveals that the National Students' Association is a CIA front. Students are sometimes recruited through blackmail and bribery, including draft deferments.

1967

Greece — A CIA-backed military coup overthrows the government two days before the elections. The favorite to win was George Papandreous, the liberal candidate. During the next six years, the "reign of the colonels" — backed by the CIA — will usher in the widespread use of torture and murder against political opponents. When a Greek ambassador objects to President Johnson about U.S. plans for Cypress, Johnson tells him: "Fuck your parliament and your constitution."

Operation PHEONIX — The CIA helps South Vietnamese agents identify and then murder alleged Viet Cong leaders operating in South Vietnamese villages. According to a 1971 congressional report, this operation killed about 20,000 "Viet Cong."

1968

Operation CHAOS — The CIA has been illegally spying on American citizens since 1959, but with Operation CHAOS, President Johnson dramatically boosts the effort. CIA agents go undercover as student radicals to spy on and disrupt campus organizations protesting the Vietnam War. They are searching for Russian instigators, which they never find. CHAOS will eventually spy on 7,000 individuals and 1,000 organizations.

Bolivia — A CIA-organized military operation captures legendary guerilla Che Guevara. The CIA wants to keep him alive for interrogation, but the Bolivian government executes him to prevent worldwide calls for clemency.

1969

Uruguay — The notorious CIA torturer Dan Mitrione arrives in Uruguay, a country torn with political strife. Whereas right-wing forces previously used torture only as a last resort, Mitrione convinces them to use it as a routine, widespread practice. "The precise pain, in the precise place, in the precise amount, for the desired effect," is his motto. The torture techniques he teaches to the death squads rival the Nazis'. He eventually becomes so feared that revolutionaries will kidnap and murder him a year later.

1970

Cambodia — The CIA overthrows Prince Sahounek, who is highly popular among Cambodians for keeping them out of the Vietnam War. He is replaced by CIA puppet Lon Nol, who immediately throws Cambodian troops into battle. This unpopular move strengthens once minor opposition parties like the Khmer Rouge, which achieves power in 1975 and massacres millions of its own people.

1971

Bolivia — After half a decade of CIA-inspired political turmoil, a CIA-backed military coup overthrows the leftist President Juan Torres. In the next two years, dictator Hugo Banzer will have over 2,000 political opponents arrested without trial, then tortured, raped and executed.

Haiti — "Papa Doc" Duvalier dies, leaving his 19-year old son "Baby Doc" Duvalier the dictator of Haiti. His son continues his bloody reign with full knowledge of the CIA.

1972

The Case-Zablocki Act — Congress passes an act requiring congressional review of executive agreements. In theory, this should make CIA operations more accountable. In fact, it is only marginally effective.

Cambodia — Congress votes to cut off CIA funds for its secret war in Cambodia.

Wagergate Break-in — President Nixon sends in a team of burglars to wiretap Democratic offices at Watergate. The team members have extensive CIA histories, including James McCord, E. Howard Hunt and five of the Cuban burglars. They work for the Committee to Reelect the President (CREEP), which does dirty work like disrupting Democratic campaigns and laundering Nixon's illegal campaign contributions. CREEP's activities are funded and organized by another CIA front, the Mullen Company.

1973

Chile — The CIA overthrows and assassinates Salvador Allende, Latin America's first democratically elected socialist leader. The problems begin when Allende nationalizes American-owned firms in Chile. ITT offers the CIA $1 million for a coup (reportedly refused). The CIA replaces Allende with General Augusto Pinochet, who will torture and murder thousands of his own countrymen in a crackdown on labor leaders and the political left.

CIA begins internal investigations — William Colby, the Deputy Director for Operations, orders all CIA personnel to report any and all illegal activities they know about. This information is later reported to Congress.

Watergate Scandal — The CIA's main collaborating newspaper in America, The Washington Post, reports Nixon's crimes long before any other newspaper takes up the subject. The two reporters, Woodward and Bernstein, make almost no mention of the CIA's many fingerprints all over the scandal. It is later revealed that Woodward was a Naval intelligence briefer to the White House, and knows many important intelligence figures, including General Alexander Haig. His main source, "Deep Throat," is probably one of those.

CIA Director Helms Fired — President Nixon fires CIA Director Richard Helms for failing to help cover up the Watergate scandal. Helms and Nixon have always disliked each other. The new CIA director is William Colby, who is relatively more open to CIA reform.

1974

CHAOS exposed — Pulitzer prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh publishes a story about Operation CHAOS, the domestic surveillance and infiltration of anti-war and civil rights groups in the U.S. The story sparks national outrage.

Angleton fired — Congress holds hearings on the illegal domestic spying efforts of James Jesus Angleton, the CIA's chief of counterintelligence. His efforts included mail-opening campaigns and secret surveillance of war protesters. The hearings result in his dismissal from the CIA.

House clears CIA in Watergate — The House of Representatives clears the CIA of any complicity in Nixon's Watergate break-in.

The Hughes Ryan Act — Congress passes an amendment requiring the president to report nonintelligence CIA operations to the relevant congressional committees in a timely fashion.

1975

Australia — The CIA helps topple the democratically elected, left-leaning government of Prime Minister Edward Whitlam. The CIA does this by giving an ultimatum to its Governor-General, John Kerr. Kerr, a longtime CIA collaborator, exercises his constitutional right to dissolve the Whitlam government. The Governor-General is a largely ceremonial position appointed by the Queen; the Prime Minister is democratically elected. The use of this archaic and never-used law stuns the nation.

Angola — Eager to demonstrate American military resolve after its defeat in Vietnam, Henry Kissinger launches a CIA-backed war in Angola. Contrary to Kissinger's assertions, Angola is a country of little strategic importance and not seriously threatened by communism. The CIA backs the brutal leader of UNITAS, Jonas Savimbi. This polarizes Angolan politics and drives his opponents into the arms of Cuba and the Soviet Union for survival. Congress will cut off funds in 1976, but the CIA is able to run the war off the books until 1984, when funding is legalized again. This entirely pointless war kills over 300,000 Angolans.

"The CIA and the Cult of Intelligence" — Victor Marchetti and John Marks publish this whistle-blowing history of CIA crimes and abuses. Marchetti has spent 14 years in the CIA, eventually becoming an executive assistant to the Deputy Director of Intelligence. Marks has spent five years as an intelligence official in the State Department.

"Inside the Company" — Philip Agee publishes a diary of his life inside the CIA. Agee has worked in covert operations in Latin America during the 60s, and details the crimes in which he took part.

Congress investigates CIA wrong-doing — Public outrage compels Congress to hold hearings on CIA crimes. Senator Frank Church heads the Senate investigation ("The Church Committee"), and Representative Otis Pike heads the House investigation. (Despite a 98 percent incumbency reelection rate, both Church and Pike are defeated in the next elections.) The investigations lead to a number of reforms intended to increase the CIA's accountability to Congress, including the creation of a standing Senate committee on intelligence. However, the reforms prove ineffective, as the Iran/Contra scandal will show. It turns out the CIA can control, deal with or sidestep Congress with ease.

The Rockefeller Commission — In an attempt to reduce the damage done by the Church Committee, President Ford creates the "Rockefeller Commission" to whitewash CIA history and propose toothless reforms. The commission's namesake, Vice President Nelson Rockefeller, is himself a major CIA figure. Five of the commission's eight members are also members of the Council on Foreign Relations, a CIA-dominated organization.

1979

Iran — The CIA fails to predict the fall of the Shah of Iran, a longtime CIA puppet, and the rise of Muslim fundamentalists who are furious at the CIA's backing of SAVAK, the Shah's bloodthirsty secret police. In revenge, the Muslims take 52 Americans hostage in the U.S. embassy in Tehran.

Afghanistan — The Soviets invade Afghanistan. The CIA immediately begins supplying arms to any faction willing to fight the occupying Soviets. Such indiscriminate arming means that when the Soviets leave Afghanistan, civil war will erupt. Also, fanatical Muslim extremists now possess state-of-the-art weaponry. One of these is Sheik Abdel Rahman, who will become involved in the World Trade Center bombing in New York.

El Salvador — An idealistic group of young military officers, repulsed by the massacre of the poor, overthrows the right-wing government. However, the U.S. compels the inexperienced officers to include many of the old guard in key positions in their new government. Soon, things are back to "normal" — the military government is repressing and killing poor civilian protesters. Many of the young military and civilian reformers, finding themselves powerless, resign in disgust.

Nicaragua — Anastasios Samoza II, the CIA-backed dictator, falls. The Marxist Sandinistas take over government, and they are initially popular because of their commitment to land and anti-poverty reform. Samoza had a murderous and hated personal army called the National Guard. Remnants of the Guard will become the Contras, who fight a CIA-backed guerilla war against the Sandinista government throughout the 1980s.

1980

El Salvador — The Archbishop of San Salvador, Oscar Romero, pleads with President Carter "Christian to Christian" to stop aiding the military government slaughtering his people. Carter refuses. Shortly afterwards, right-wing leader Roberto D'Aubuisson has Romero shot through the heart while saying Mass. The country soon dissolves into civil war, with the peasants in the hills fighting against the military government. The CIA and U.S. Armed Forces supply the government with overwhelming military and intelligence superiority. CIA-trained death squads roam the countryside, committing atrocities like that of El Mazote in 1982, where they massacre between 700 and 1000 men, women and children. By 1992, some 63,000 Salvadorans will be killed.

1981

Iran/Contra Begins — The CIA begins selling arms to Iran at high prices, using the profits to arm the Contras fighting the Sandinista government in Nicaragua. President Reagan vows that the Sandinistas will be "pressured" until "they say 'uncle.'" The CIA's Freedom Fighter's Manual disbursed to the Contras includes instruction on economic sabotage, propaganda, extortion, bribery, blackmail, interrogation, torture, murder and political assassination.

1983

Honduras — The CIA gives Honduran military officers the Human Resource Exploitation Training Manual ' 1983, which teaches how to torture people. Honduras' notorious "Battalion 316" then uses these techniques, with the CIA's full knowledge, on thousands of leftist dissidents. At least 184 are murdered.

1984

The Boland Amendment — The last of a series of Boland Amendments is passed. These amendments have reduced CIA aid to the Contras; the last one cuts it off completely. However, CIA Director William Casey is already prepared to "hand off" the operation to Colonel Oliver North, who illegally continues supplying the Contras through the CIA's informal, secret, and self-financing network. This includes "humanitarian aid" donated by Adolph Coors and William Simon, and military aid funded by Iranian arms sales.

1986

Eugene Hasenfus — Nicaragua shoots down a C-123 transport plane carrying military supplies to the Contras. The lone survivor, Eugene Hasenfus, turns out to be a CIA employee, as are the two dead pilots. The airplane belongs to Southern Air Transport, a CIA front. The incident makes a mockery of President Reagan's claims that the CIA is not illegally arming the Contras.

Iran/Contra Scandal — Although the details have long been known, the Iran/Contra scandal finally captures the media's attention in 1986. Congress holds hearings, and several key figures (like Oliver North) lie under oath to protect the intelligence community. CIA Director William Casey dies of brain cancer before Congress can question him. All reforms enacted by Congress after the scandal are purely cosmetic.

Haiti — Rising popular revolt in Haiti means that "Baby Doc" Duvalier will remain "President for Life" only if he has a short one. The U.S., which hates instability in a puppet country, flies the despotic Duvalier to the South of France for a comfortable retirement. The CIA then rigs the upcoming elections in favor of another right-wing military strongman. However, violence keeps the country in political turmoil for another four years. The CIA tries to strengthen the military by creating the National Intelligence Service (SIN), which suppresses popular revolt through torture and assassination.

1989

Panama — The U.S. invades Panama to overthrow a dictator of its own making, General Manuel Noriega. Noriega has been on the CIA's payroll since 1966, and has been transporting drugs with the CIA's knowledge since 1972. By the late 80s, Noriega's growing independence and intransigence have angered Washington' so out he goes.

1990

Haiti — Competing against 10 comparatively wealthy candidates, leftist priest Jean-Bertrand Aristide captures 68 percent of the vote. After only eight months in power, however, the CIA-backed military deposes him. More military dictators brutalize the country, as thousands of Haitian refugees escape the turmoil in barely seaworthy boats. As popular opinion calls for Aristide's return, the CIA begins a disinformation campaign painting the courageous priest as mentally unstable.

1991

The Gulf War — The U.S. liberates Kuwait from Iraq. But Iraq's dictator, Saddam Hussein, is another creature of the CIA. With U.S. encouragement, Hussein invaded Iran in 1980. During this costly eight-year war, the CIA built up Hussein's forces with sophisticated arms, intelligence, training and financial backing. This cemented Hussein's power at home, allowing him to crush the many internal rebellions that erupted from time to time, sometimes with poison gas. It also gave him all the military might he needed to conduct further adventurism — in Kuwait, for example.

The Fall of the Soviet Union — The CIA fails to predict this most important event of the Cold War. This suggests that it has been so busy undermining governments that it hasn't been doing its primary job: gathering and analyzing information. The fall of the Soviet Union also robs the CIA of its reason for existence: fighting communism. This leads some to accuse the CIA of intentionally failing to predict the downfall of the Soviet Union. Curiously, the intelligence community's budget is not significantly reduced after the demise of communism.

1992

Economic Espionage — In the years following the end of the Cold War, the CIA is increasingly used for economic espionage. This involves stealing the technological secrets of competing foreign companies and giving them to American ones. Given the CIA's clear preference for dirty tricks over mere information gathering, the possibility of serious criminal behavior is very great indeed.

1993

Haiti — The chaos in Haiti grows so bad that President Clinton has no choice but to remove the Haitian military dictator, Raoul Cedras, on threat of U.S. invasion. The U.S. occupiers do not arrest Haiti's military leaders for crimes against humanity, but instead ensure their safety and rich retirements. Aristide is returned to power only after being forced to accept an agenda favorable to the country's ruling class.

EPILOGUE

In a speech before the CIA celebrating its 50th anniversary, President Clinton said: "By necessity, the American people will never know the full story of your courage."

Clinton's is a common defense of the CIA: namely, the American people should stop criticizing the CIA because they don't know what it really does. This, of course, is the heart of the problem in the first place. An agency that is above criticism is also above moral behavior and reform. Its secrecy and lack of accountability allows its corruption to grow unchecked.

Furthermore, Clinton's statement is simply untrue. The history of the agency is growing painfully clear, especially with the declassification of historical CIA documents. We may not know the details of specific operations, but we do know, quite well, the general behavior of the CIA. These facts began emerging nearly two decades ago at an ever-quickening pace. Today we have a remarkably accurate and consistent picture, repeated in country after country, and verified from countless different directions.

The CIA's response to this growing knowledge and criticism follows a typical historical pattern. (Indeed, there are remarkable parallels to the Medieval Church's fight against the Scientific Revolution.) The first journalists and writers to reveal the CIA's criminal behavior were harassed and censored if they were American writers, and tortured and murdered if they were foreigners. (See Philip Agee's On the Run for an example of early harassment.) However, over the last two decades the tide of evidence has become overwhelming, and the CIA has found that it does not have enough fingers to plug every hole in the dike. This is especially true in the age of the Internet, where information flows freely among millions of people. Since censorship is impossible, the Agency must now defend itself with apologetics. Clinton's "Americans will never know" defense is a prime example.

Another common apologetic is that "the world is filled with unsavory characters, and we must deal with them if we are to protect American interests at all." There are two things wrong with this. First, it ignores the fact that the CIA has regularly spurned alliances with defenders of democracy, free speech and human rights, preferring the company of military dictators and tyrants. The CIA had moral options available to them, but did not take them.

Second, this argument begs several questions. The first is: " Which American interests?" The CIA has courted right-wing dictators because they allow wealthy Americans to exploit the country's cheap labor and resources. But poor and middle-class Americans pay the price whenever they fight the wars that stem from CIA actions, from Vietnam to the Gulf War to Panama. The second begged question is: "Why should American interests come at the expense of other peoples' human rights?"

The CIA should be abolished, its leadership dismissed and its relevant members tried for crimes against humanity. Our intelligence community should be rebuilt from the ground up, with the goal of collecting and analyzing information. As for covert action, there are two moral options. The first one is to eliminate covert action completely. But this gives jitters to people worried about the Adolf Hitlers of the world. So a second option is that we can place covert action under extensive and true democratic oversight. For example, a bipartisan Congressional Committee of 40 members could review and veto all aspects of CIA operations upon a majority or super-majority vote. Which of these two options is best may be the subject of debate, but one thing is clear: like dictatorship, like monarchy, unaccountable covert operations should die like the dinosaurs they are.

The left leaning slant of the author is impossible to miss. The liberal left once stood against the abusive power of government. Why he did not carry the timeline into the Clinton Administration is a little suspect. But the history is impossible to ignore. The CIA is dirty. The CIA overthrows governments and kills people. Given the history of the CIA, what did Brennan do that was so much worse? Easy.

Brennan applied CIA tactics here in America. Brennan conspired with Foreign Agents and attempted to rig an American election. When this didn't work, the "steady state" is still trying their damndest to oust a duly elected President.

"Not a good idea to piss of John Brennan" Samantha Power

Now that you know a little more about the CIA, John Brennan and a panoply of dead people, Samantha Power's tweet may carry more weight. The family of his dead trusted employee, Lt. Harris Quarles knows it. The family and friends of dead Michael Hastings and dead Seth Rich know it. The families. friends and children of his drone strikes know it.

Once my accustions become provable, could I be next? Not likely, he is out of power. I have no power. Trump rescinded his security clearance. Trump is not afraid of him either. He doesn't have the nads nor the strength to do it himself. He is a F'in wimp without the organization. Screw John Brennan. I hope this pisses him off.

All of this is background to what later inspired career public servants to violate the law. The next chapters include some evidence that will serve as the basis for the slew of upcoming indictments. As usual many of those that drove the fervor, and broke the law, will probably remain unindicted.

Now that some of you know the sordid history of your CIA "Morning Joe" darling's legacy, I hope at least a few of you puke up some of your morning java when your MSNBC sycophants spread their love of this evil SOB.

Next Chapter - The FBI
